Ian "The Avengers Artland" Duerden kindly provided these present-day views of the still-operational Stapleford Miniature Railway. According to Ian, "the station has been rebuilt but the surrounding land was still recognisable" from when "The Gravediggers" was filmed there. Visit their website if you'd like to ride the train! Incidentally, John of Gaunt is the name of Sir Horace's model steam locomotive (right and below). |
