Dennis Chinnery Dobson, Something Nasty in the Nursery

Dennis Chinnery's performance in "Genesis of the Daleks" (1975) is well-remembered by Doctor Who fans; he later appeared to less effect in "The Twin Dilemma" (1984). He was a regular supporting player in Hancock's Half Hour, from "The Chef That Died of Shame" (1956) onwards. Probably his best role there was as a pushy reporter in "The Bowmans" (1961), a favourite episode of writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. Chinnery also made appearances on The Saint, "Invitation to Danger" (1968), The Champions, "The Ghost Plane (1968), and The Prisoner, "Many Happy Returns" (1967).
