Guest Actor Biography |
|
by Pete Stampede Scottish actor Fulton Mackay was a fine scene-stealer. He was in the popular if now rather twee film Local Hero, but his best moments were twitching away as an obsessive, do-it-by-the-book prison warder (also called Mackay!) constantly bested by Ronnie Barker's crafty convict in the sitcom Porridge. He was killed off before the opening titles in Vendetta for the Saint, a two-part outing for Roger Moore that had some cinema showings in the rest of Europe. |
