When tests of a vaccine go horribly wrong, Steed and Dr.
Keel step in and discover that one of the scientists involved is trying to sabotage the
project. While interrogating the suspect, they learn that it is another scientist that is
behind the scheme, who sets about locking Steed in a room that is booby-trapped with a
vial of lethal virus. Believing Steed to be infected, Keel then learns that the vials of
virus had been replaced with vials of water by the project director as a security
precaution, and the real saboteur is flushed out.
