LINKS

This "global community" of on-line fans collectively provides nearly every tidbit of information available about our favorite program. I am always looking for more links, so if you have a page or know of one, please email me. Enjoy the adventure!

Diabolical Masterminds and Extraordinary Agents — Jackie Lane's stylish and intriguing look at the principal players. Stop by and check out her adventures in Avengerland on the Dead Man's Treasure Hunt, and see "now-and-then" photos of shooting locations. She's got a Snappy, too, so expect to see plenty more screen grabs.

The Unofficial Avengers Home Page — James Dawe's awesome Avengers page is a must-see, crammed with info, images, sounds and more. Caution: It's BIG, and it's worth it.

From the land down under, Piers Johnson's Mrs Peel — we're needed! is the first Avengers page on the web, and a fun place to spend some time.

Visit Alistair McGown's Elan Avengers page in Scotland, brought to you by Poor George/Stroke XR40. He has plenty of rare images and other items of interest. Check out his "top ten" list and the marvelous reviews it contains—it is always interesting to compare favorites.

The Avengers - Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Cuir is a French site (bi-lingual) with nice images and tribute pages to "The Joker" and "The Forget-Me-Knots."

Chris Perry's The Avengers — Ultimate Episode Guide is the most complete source of Avengers episode information available anywhere. Beware—the file is HUGE.

For fans of The New Avengers, visit The New Avengers page.

There is also a bit of rare editorial material on Mike Gambit at Looker On Line.

Two excellent books by Dave Rogers have been invaluable to me: The Complete Avengers (St. Martin's Press, 1989) and The Avengers Anew (Michael Joseph Ltd., 1985). They feature in-depth chronologies, detailed episode synopses, related information and plenty of images.

Jennifer Cumming adds: "After the recent rerun of The Avengers on Channel 4 here in the UK Dave Rogers brought out a new edition of his book, called The Ultimate Avengers which has even more information. Last I heard it was selling for 16.99 pounds sterling."
